Description

With the help of the Fraternity’s regional volunteers (province presidents), Phi Delta Theta will host 22 province retreats throughout North America in the early months of 2019.

Your chapter is invited to attend the Dakotas, Minnesota, and Manitoba Province Retreat at the University of North Dakota on February 16, 2019.

It is encouraged that your chapter registers and brings its Executive Board, other emerging leaders, and members of the Chapter Advisory Board to the retreat. There is no registration fee and lunch will be provided at the event. Travel costs to and from the event are the responsibility of the chapter.

Chapters Invited to the Dakotas, Minnesota, and Manitoba Retreat Include:


  • Lambda Province
    • Minnesota Alpha Colony – University of Minnesota
    • Minnesota Beta – Minnesota State, Mankato
    • North Dakota Alpha – University of North Dakota
    • South Dakota Alpha – University of South Dakota
  • Tau North Province
    • Manitoba Alpha – University of Manitoba


The Outcomes of the Province Retreat Include:

  • Creating supportive relationships, cohesion, and momentum within provinces that build stronger chapters and advisory boards
  • Ensuring that undergraduate officers and their Chapter Advisory Board receive ongoing education
  • Educating more undergraduates and CAB members in-person annually
  • Furthering the Fraternity’s problem-solving competency in relation to strategic planning
  • Creating opportunities to educate about important To Do What Ought To Be Done health and safety topics while promoting Fraternity initiatives and programs
  • Expanding the Fraternity’s recruitment programming reach
  • Strengthening the Fraternity’s capacity to deliver regional education on an annual basis
